Manic Monday

When my mother asked me today to help my adopted brother to process his papers, I thought I could finish it half a day and spare some time to buy a gift for my godchild. I had missed his 2 birthday and 2 Christmas. I have to make-up something for it.He is a very cute kid, that's why I like him. (shocks.. CM mode????) His mother was my closest friend during college. Although people are asking me why I keep being friends with her when she turned out to be a total bitch. Well, I like upfront bitches. Who the hell are you to tell me who I should be friends with. Just because she doesn't agree with you, doesn't mean I should too. If I were to dump my friends because they have their flaws I will be friendless.

Anyway, the processing took more than what I anticipated. Damn DFA people. Rush means rush.. It doesn't mean after 14 working days plus delays. We were willing to pay. When we provided the required "royal blue" picture for the passport, it means royal blue, and not deep blue. They just wanted to charge us again with a cost times two than the local photo store. They should have said earlier that they will only accept photos that were processed in their lab. What will we do with the extra photos?.

We decided to let him take a trip to Manila to process his passport and his medical exams. We'll take 7 working days rather than the 14 plus delayed days. While purchasing a plane ticket, we were surprised by a constant tapping of the glass wall from the other store. They are selling plane tickets too. A girl was placed being the counter and every 10 minutes she taps the wall for several seconds just to catch the attention of the people in the other store then flash a cue card that they are selling much cheaper flight fare. She manages to entice some costumers over. I was thinking, How much will she make doing that the whole day? That would be a wonderful part-time job (haha..!)

Speaking of jobs, my former boss texted me today to remind me about my pressing deadline. The files are with me for a month now and I still haven't touched anything. June is a very hectic month for me. I have to pass the alum the 2nd week of July. Goodness, I almost forgot about Misyel's digital scrapbook. I lost my potential cash allowance because of this delay. I have to get what Sir Ricky owed me if I want to survive until the end of the month and think of new ways to get some money. Hopefully I will get another project. Thank goodness that Sir Jess still thinks that my designs are still worth it. 20 layouts by the next 2 weeks. Another sleepless night. I have to take time to watch my series.

I have to end this, I'll multi-task. I'll do my mother's class program then watch fringe at the same time..
